Problem with deleted elements

Hi all,

I have a normal problem I think, I created a Spec. for my Project, I have routed a lot of pipes´s lines, and I have been modified these Spec, well, when I update my drawing it happens the problem of the attached image, if you see the image you can find a lot of problem like "not found in the spec"...

Not found.JPG

And when I try to create a report with "AutoCAD Plant Report Creator 2013" I can find a lot of elements that din´t appear in my drawing, in the report you can look the position X,Y,Z of these elements but you don´t see any elements in theses positions,( believe me, I activated all layers, reference...).

How can I purge theses elements???

Thanks for all.

Hey There,

I had the same issue. the only solution is that when you have made your spec update, there shall be some items that have not change, there you must change them manually.....select the items and change the spec..

Also for the items that does not appear you must do a project audit(auditproject) . These shall work but not 100% sure.I have done it for some it does work some not.

hi ap3demineo,

I get to reduce the list of "not found in Spec." but not the total of them, and The Report continue showing elements that don´t exist....

Thanks, more ideas...?

Hi Jose,

You wil the message 'Not found in spec' when you have deleted a whole component of your spec, for exmple a special ball valve.  If you have deleted only one size of the component, the message is different: '<size> is unavailable'. The next possibility is that you have deleted the whole spec but in this case, you will get the message in an extra balloon. So in your case you have deleted components in your project spec which was used before in the drawings. Navigate to those parts (via PALNTSPECUPDATECHECK) and substitue those parts with components which are available in your spec.

For the parts which are not existing in your drawings: This sounds strange. I have created a FTP-site for you. You will get in the next minutes a separate email. Upload there your zipped project. Then I can look for it.

Regards

Bernd
