plate dislocated in ortho

Hi,

I've got a problem with structural plates. When generating ortho views the plates are offset, and the centerpoint of the plate end up in the point where I started the polyline defining the plate.

Anyone know this problem? I experience the same in both P3d 2013 and 2014.

Hi,

Yes, we've heard a few reports of this. There is a similar post and workaround on this forum:

Hi,

Yes I saw that on. It does not work.

I've tried to redraw multiple times, in diffrent modes, but I can not find a way that works. This is a showstoipper. As long as the plates is not working, we can not use them. I have removed all plates to get layouts that doesn´t look like crap.

Is there another way to make plates?

Best regards

//Johan

The only way to make them come in close (that I have found 2014) is to insert the plate at the exact location instead of drawing them and then moving them to the desired location.
