Plant 3D version 2013/2014 saved as 2010 DWG version

Will I have any issues with saving Plant drawings, models, orthos, etc. in Autocad 2010 format?  Will the data be broken?

Our document management system doesn't recognize the AutoCAD 2013 & up DWG format and trying to get my IT dept to upgrade that software is not going well.

No issue as far as i know it.

One thing to note though, I have issue opening an AutoCAD 2010 drawing saved using AutoCAD 2013 in DWGTrueView 2012.

This is great news.  We use TrueView as well, I'll check which version.

I guess if you couldn't have your Autocad default save files to the older version, they would take it out from the options.
