Plant 3D for plumbing waste lines - good idea?

Our firm is currently using both Acad MEP & (have recently gone) to Plant 3D.  My question is which program is better for drawing (plumbing) waste lines (wyes, traps, cleanouts, etc..)?   My engineer wants me to use Plant for the plumbing piping,  I think we should use MEP.  So I want to "Ask the Experts" - from experience which is the better program to use for wastelines?

Can't see why you want to use Plant for that.  You will have a lot of work to setup catalogues and the outputs are isometrics, which are unusual for plumbing work.  If you need the iso's for some reason, then plant is going to produce them, but otherwise MEP would be better.

I vote for MEP. Same reasons as given above.
