Plant 3D 2014 Nominal Spec not showing

Does anyone else have the issue with the spec not populating the isometric boder when linking to the attribute or placing the spec attribute in the border?

Thanks for the feedback!

That “NominalSpec” attribute can be confusing. It is not necessarily the actual spec being used, but a P3d LineGroup property that needs to be manually assigned. This value can be populated using a Tag in P3d Line Group to prompt input for this information. See this video for clarification:  http://screencast.com/t/gZDCzQrEES

Martin,
What I’m looking for is the spec type/nominal spec to fill in the field in the isometric title block. I tested it on the sample project and it also doesn’t work or populate the field.

If I’m following you correctly, I don’t think this is currently possible to make the Spec a title block property for an Iso. This would be because there can often be more than one spec used per line number.  In those cases, not sure how programmatically they would determine which of the specs the customer wants listed.  So the video provided earlier is one work-around. Perhaps another is to use the LDT feature for this.

To configure an isometric line designation table:
