Pipework Tolerances: Is the anyway to change these to allow better connecting.

I am having this issue on the sloped lines of our pipework, where we can't connect pipework that is off by as little as 1mm sometimes.

This adds hours to our isometric production because we cannot run an iso without these connections.

Is there a way to modify these tolerances to allow piping to connections?

Cheers.

Rohan.

1mm is a pretty big gap....how are you creating the sloped pipe.

You can create it while you route using the ribbon:

or you can use the PLANTPIPESLOPE command to change existing piping.

Sorry I should have worded the initial post differently.

Pipework is already sloped and gaps are up to 1mm, pipework can obviously be moved to close gaps.  I suppose the main issue is when bends are rotated off a number of degrees.

Picture attached is the pipework in question. All the pipework is sloped except for the vertical pipes. The drop is where the disconnect is.

I have re-run this line to work my way around it. But short of redrawing the line there is nothing I can do to allow that slightly 'off' connection.

This is problem if we have to change part of the pipework.  Also it becomes tricky when we start using sloped 45deg and similar bends, the pipework ends up at unrealistic angles.
