pipes moving at different speeds

When I use the grip edits to move a part, parts of the line seem to move at different rates then the piece I am moving. The pipes are still connected (no water drops), but does not look like they are connected when I finish moving.

I can still use the move command but that less convenient.

I've seen something similar to that when the video card is trying to keep up with the cursor movement. Basically the parts are moving but the display is sort of delayed until the cursor stops and it catches up.

One thing you might check is to make sure Dynamic Input is turned off. It does have it's uses in Plant 3D, but it shows pipe and component movement down significantly.

Also make sure that Selection Cycling is off. It can cause a delay as you move your cursor over sections with a lot of components and/or pipe.

It is not a delay as more off a jump ahead. When everything settles it is at a different position then it should be. I do not use Dynamic Inout becasue as you say it slows the computer down and it also annoys me.

I just had to reinstall the program it is working now.

Is it this issue...   http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Plant-3D/strange-result-when-using-move-part-grip/td-p/2840777

It is profile related...if you log on to machine as another user you should find that it does not happen.

The only way I found to fix it is to delete the plant folder from your registry...HKEY_Current_User\Software\Autodesk\Autocad\R18.1\ACAD-9017:409 (inthe R18.1 folder there will be an ACAD-xxxx:409 intry for each of the autocads you have installed plant is either 9017 or 9005, i cant remember which is which). then when you run plant again it will rebuild itself.

Yes it is the same problem I will try getting rid of those registry keys.
