Hi
question in the tittle
is it a P3D bugg or a misuse on my part ?
Thanks
Hi,
It's not a bug, per se. The ortho feature doesn't show the insulation. Do you mind sharing an example of what you'd like to see with the insulation? It's on our list to implement, but one thing that's been slowing us down is lack of user examples of what's required.
Most examples that I've seen include a short segment showing the insulation requirements of the pipe - kind of like the iso PP insulation symbol. This is possible now. What I've been hearing is that we need to show insulation on all pipes, but exactly what's needed, along with some example drawings would be useful for the software development team.
Hi thanks,
Ok not a bugg, I understand that it a missing in the function devellopment.
A piping layout must show the apparent dimension. So the pipe with the insulation.
This to check and see the real the volume / place take by the pipe in a area.
An example can be made in model space choose a top view and hidden render
Sam
Here's an example of how we show it, one LB pipe and one SB pipe. We don't always use the elbow version, but it's nice to have sometimes.
A good image attached. it will be nice to get insulation symbol at every elbows and one insulation symbol between two elbows.
Also we require flow direction symbol in Orthographic.
Thank you all for your suggestions how it shall look like. Those advices will be part of the implementation of this enhancement request.
Hi
I agree with Eric and THERMAX
