PID: cause the update of a new propertie

Hello

when I create a new propertie (takeover from an other object) in the project setup for a PID symbol, and go back to the drawing the new propertie will not be updated.(it should be automaticly because I have a lot of these symbols in the PIDs)

'synchstyles' dosn't help.

Can I force this update?

Thanks

Guido

I cannot reproduce it. What for a class do you have updated with a new property? And from which class you have acquired which property?

Thank you.

Only items placed after the acquisition property has been created acquire the defined value. I don't think you can make the rule retroactive with out-of-the-box tools. There are at least two apps in the Autodesk Exchange Apps store that will apply the rule to pre-existing items - one by ECAD, the other by Lazcad. It is also possible to do it yourself with the .net API.

Hi

yes, thanks. I used the tool from LazCAD. That's it!
