P&ID PIP palette problems

I was stunned when I discovered that there were no filters in PID PIP - NONE! They should be in the Equipment tab like they are in the other standard's palettes. That means that users are going to have to switch palette standard to insert a filter into their drawing. I've search the net and can't find anywhere instructions on HOW to add a new 'Filter' group to the Equipent tab. Anyone have a solution?

I've also been unable to find a way to permanently remove that Dynamic Pipe Spec from the PID PIP palette without reinstalling the program. Any ideas? And why does the title of that palette read "Pipe Supports - P&ID PIP"? This is nuts!

Adding new equipment to the PID palette is the same as all the other fittings.

Go into the project properties, and under the PID DWG options, go to the Equipment section, expand it, and go to the filters section. Look for the one you want, and if it doesn't already have a symbol, add one as you would normally. Once the symbol is there, you can add that symbol to the tool palette.

The palette is like any other AutoCAD palette. Once the symbol is added you can add separators and text to differentiate between the different types of equipment.

As for the tool palette showing the DPS section, maybe as a first step, customise the palette and remove the DPS section, or if you've already done that, does it keep coming back?

Yes it does. I customize palettes and move it back to the 'AutoCAD Plant 3D - Piping Components" Group and every time i start AutoCAD it is back in the PnID PIP group. I tried creating a new group to use as my default and the problem just transfered. It seems that the DPS Palette loads into the current group regardless. It is very frustrating.

Any suguestions?
