Ortho Annotate Text Style?

When using the Ortho Annotate command, I selected the pipe that I wanted to recieve the line number from and it worded fine. Except I want to edit the text style to show 3/32" size text and make it 0.85 width factor. How can I acheive this? It comes in as 1/8" and 1.00 width factor.

STYLE command, edit your active text style to have these properties that you want.

That did not work. It works when I just use regular mtext, but when I use the Ortho Annotate command and click the pipe to reveal the line number, it comes in as 1/8” and 1.00 width factor. I even changes the text style through STYLE command to an off the wall style and retried it and still nothing. Comes in as Standard style, 1/8”H, 1.00 width factor. Got any other ideas?

PLANTORTHOTEMPLATESETTINGS command let's you select the text style to use, select the one you changed in STYLE command.

What exact version of AutoCAD are you using? Plant3D forum is here and seems to be where you need to post http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-plant-3d/ct-p/2046

TWROGERS,

Lets try this

Go to Project Setup then go to down to Plant 3D DWG Settings

Plant 3D Class Definitions

Pipe Run Component

Under Properties scroll down to Annotation Style select/highlite it

Under Ortho Annotation Setup Select the style you want to edit

Select edit block. Block editor will open. Here you can add your text style you would like to use, height etc etc.

Now select the Atribute block text and change the properties to your standards.

Easier for me to show you in a screen cast then typing it out in text form.....

tom.malas,

Would you happen to also know how to edit the leader for ortho text as well?  Ex. insert full line number, you are promted to rotate text or add leader.
