object selected not recognized in properties box

I have selected an object (pipe) and wanted to change the insulation thickness.  when I select the object, the properties dialog box does not recognize the object. See picture.

Hey to You....

Sometimes when P3D crashes or have some violent interrupt, e.g block or windows crashes, this thing happen...

Try first to audit project, then to recover drawing with this pipe, or if does not work, just draw this pice of pipe again, and will be good...

We had that problem, and some of this steps above was solution...

It isn't just this one pipe, it is everything that is a Plant 3D object.  It recognizes AutoCAD objects.  I have audited the file and found no errors.  As far as crashes go, P3D crashes my machine several times a day.

>right click on drawing in PROJECT MENAGER, then remove... drawing ....

after that try to add drawing to PROJECT MENAGER again

>right clik on Folder where You wish to add drawing and Copy drawing to project...

I forget to write, but try to solve problems with crashes P3D

I am sure that is not good to have crashes, because audit do not solve problems always....

After several crashes on different machines We have a lot of problems with Project....Forgot LINE NUMBERS, some pipe components missing, stop to update spec...and...and...

Try to make that P3D run smoothly....

Milic Srdjan, Again Smiley Happy

Hello,

Can you give some background on the configuration you are running for you project? Are you using SQLite or SQL Server Express and how many users?

Thank you,

I know this is an old thread, but if removing the drawing from the project doesn't work, recover the drawing and it should bring everything back to normal.
