I'm trying to get more options on the spec (SS150) than is offered. I want to use a 150lb, R.F. S.O. Flange, in a 4" sch. 40 size. Presently all I have available is a Weld Neck.
Little background. I'm presently evaluating Plant 3D to see if we should replace our present piping program (CADPipe) with Plant 3D, so this is my first time at using it, and since I'm not having much luck finding any tutorials, its becoming a pain to figure it out.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Hi John,
I can point you to some resources for learning Plant 3D.
The attached whitepaper is from Plant 2010 but will still give you a general understanding of how to use Spec & Catalog Editor.
This site has a full set of courseware with data sets to go along with the lessons (Autodesk Plant 3D 2012 Courseware Imperial & Mixed Metric)
Chapter 5 covers specs and catalogs:
Autodesk Plant Solutions Learning Resources
The AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013 documentation:
