move piping into new model?

Currently all our piping is in one model. Is it possible to successfully move piping components into different models after-the-fact, i.e. move field piping into it's own model (drawing)? We would like to make this split for several reasons, in particular to be able create a separate BOMs for different areas of the plant.

Can this be done?

Thanks!

Save it under a new name. right click inside *Plant 3D Drawings* where you want it located then *Copy Drawing to Project...* then remove unwanted duplicate piping from both drawings. you can save some time by deleting unwanted piping THEN saving under a new name, but you risk losing some piping if you save instead of save as. ( it happens )

Thanks! I'll give it a shot.
