Makeup Length for Cut Piece

Hi,

I need to add a Makeup Length in the Cut Piece list if I put Field Fit Weld (FFW) on the pipe.  Attached is my setting for the Makeup Length.

The Makeup Length is added to the BOM but it does not show in the "Length" column of the Cut Piece list.  How do I set this up?

We manulay go back thur the Iso and and to the legths.

Is there a better way?

Does the setting that the first post sets in the UI work?

Or, does it work when you edit ISOCONFIG.XML? (search for Makeuplength)

Or are you seeing the iso ignoring this setting?

Peter,

The setting in the UI and in the .xml file works, it adds length to the overal length of pipe in the BOM.

But it does not adjust the length of the cut list.

How does the extra length get allocated? Is it all on one side or another? Or, does the pipe on each side of the field weld get half of the extra length?

The majority of the time it would be next to a fitting.  But in the pipe to pipe scenario, the extra lenght would be place on the piece that is not full lenght (42' or 21')(DRL or SRL).
