isometric symbols orientated parallel to the xy, but need to be standing up

Hi all,

Creating ISO's from a horizontal 3Dpipe sometimes the symbols in the ISO are drawn flat or parallel to the xy WCS plane. I client is seeing that this is not the right way (see attachment)!

Is there any trigger to force them in an up possition!

Hi Rene,

Unfortunately, there is no way to influence the orientation of the iso components. They are orientated based what planes their dimensions are in. And dimensions are determined based on what is the cleanest layout.

We can think about providing an overriding component orienatation mechanism to the user in the future, if there is a strong need for it.

Thanks,

Karthik

Hi Karthik,

Thanks for the reply. Although this client is the first who notes this as unexeptable. I can imagine this is not according to standard. Than he has a point to concider this to be one for improvement!

This issue still not resolved in 2014. Was there ever a workaround found?

Acceptation of the fact that this was a minor optical issue and technically not.
