isometric drawing: custom drawing properties

Hi, I would like to ask, if is there is a way to extract Custom Drawing Properties from 3d Drawing into the Isometric Drawing, which was created based on the 3d Drawing. So everytime I create Iso Drawing, it will take data from proper 3d drawing.

I tried to do that with Field command, but there is only options to extract Custom Drawing Properties from Current Drawing (this doesn't work, because the current drawing is the iso drawing), and  when I insert field with custom drawing properties from concrete 3d drawing, this value(-s) won't change, when I create another iso drawing.

Can you help me?

Thanks

Go into Project Properties

then Isometric DWG Settings

then Title Block Settings

then click on Title Block Editor

Look for the button in the ribbon marked "Title Block Attributes"

this is where you want to add/edit/manipulate the attributes.

Bazjik, I apologize for hijacking your thread but I think I'm having the same problem.

Tomislav, I would like to do something similar and I don't think your last post answers the question.  I think I have the same issue as the bazjik and following your instructions does not fix the issue.  I will explain my issue which I believe to be the same as the bazjik's.

I have created several new COMPONENT fields in the project as shown below:

TblockAtts_1.jpg

When I follow your instructions to add the attributes to my Title Block these new fields are not showing up in the dialog:

TblockAtts_2.jpg

How can we add these fields to the dialog so that these values will come in as attributes automatically on the drawing?  We know how to add P3D attributes to the titleblock but these new properties are not in the list to be added.

I've seen several threads asking the same or similar questions and they all point to another thread where someone says to use the Field command.  This does not work as bazjik states in his original post.

Can you help with this?

Hello,

I think I have the same issue, I should add a column into the Catalog Browser so I have a column in the part spec. I need to have bilingual specification in Izometric English/Russian so I need one more column where I going to writing manually all translations or anything else that I need. I managed to throw in the spec and it can be seen in the drawing part Properties, and on ortho bill of materials everything is OK displays the new column, but on isometric dwg in specification not shown, remain empty column.

I think I know what you are after. Are you looking for your custom properties to be displayed as a column in the BOM?

Yes, so that I can see that in specification of isometric dwg-s BOM etc. It can be used for any additional information you want. This is working just in ortho BOM, and in isometric BOM is not displayed I do not know why.

You're adding these values to each piping components. The iso titleblock is looking to put out properties for the line group itself. You'll need to put the property on the line group (process line) in order for it to be on the titleblock. For the BOM you should be good with component properties.
