Hello All
Is there any way to customize the date format for the isometric drawings? Our standard format is “MMMDD-YY”, meaning todays date would be NOV28-11. The standard options given in the project manager (see attached) are British, American, and European and none of them conform to our standard.
I was also hoping that there is a way to customize the file naming format for isometric drawings. In the project manager it only gives two option for file naming (see attached).
Regards
Syed
Hi Syed,
I checked IsoConfig.xml but I don't see a way to control the date format. I just reads from the "DATE" value in the project database so it might be set elsewhere.
You can insert standard AutoCAD fields in your title block. So there's not reason why you couldn't place one in your Iso template and modify the expression a bit:
As for the Iso file naming, currently those are the only two options.
Thank you,
Have a search through the forums. You can customise the file naming of the Isometrics with attributes from the project. What kind of file naming do you want? You will have to edit the Isoconfig.XML file for that Iso Style.
