Iso Problems

I am sure this has been discussed somewhere but I can't find it. When I create an iso by line # sometimes I get some extra iso's wit just tails (no coordinates). I am sure there are errant welds somewhere but I can't find them. Also how can I stop them from happening?

Another thing, when I click on a part in the model sometimes I get a bunch of lines showing up but I can't pick them. What are they and why do they happen?

base on what i know, when a P3D object is selected, center lines of connected line to it(or lines with the same line number) whether those lines are hidden will appear, try selecting a single piece of component then use add to selection, all connected parts or all line numbers, hopefully it would help you troubleshoot your model. thanks
