Import P&ID Class Definitions into the current project

Is it possible to import custom P&ID Class Definition components into an existing project without having to copy the project.xml file?

There are custom tool palettes (xtp files) on the network which can be dragged and dropped onto the "All Palettes" in the current project.

When a symbol is placed on the drawing from the custom tool palette the following message is shown:

"The 'ABC Chute' symbol could not be found in the current project.

I am new to Plant 3D and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion would be to create a new project using the project that has the customizations as a template project. Then import any drawing/model from the other project to the new.
