Is it possible to import or convert 3D model from Plant 3D to CAESAR II or CTAPTfile (or any other programms for structural calculation)? There are opportunities to convert from PDMS, Plant 4D, Cadworx, but is it possible from Plant 3D?

Yes. You can export to PCF file for import into Caesar. You can also export to an SDNF file to import the steel into STAAD and other structural analysis programs.

The export of PCF to CAESAR is possible with CAESARII5.0 version. The present versions, doesn't support the PCF eventhough the option is available to Import.

For this, do the following:

1. Convert the PCF into CAESAR II version 5.0. Open the file and then save it.

2. Open the CII file (saved in 5.0) in present version.
