How do you mark flange as existing?

In a previous post the question was asked"

"How do you add a bolt and gasket set to an open flange (not connected)"

Answer was given:

Just insert mating flange and "Mark as existing"

My Question:

How do you mark flange as existing?

Select the 'existing' flange. Then on the Properties bar, there should be 'Status'. Change to Existing.

Now if you don't want that to show up in BOM. In the Report creator you'll need to query 'Existing' out.

Hope that helps.
