Do you have object enabler of ASD installed? The ASD objects are 3D forms of AutoCAD, that's why they have to generated in sections without problems. In my projects it work correctly.

yes but there is the error message..

c:\program files\autodesk\autocad plant 3d 2012 - english\asdload.arx cannot
find a dll or other file that it needs.

how can i solve this issue?

I prove to copy dwg of ASD to Plant3D project with the command of Plant from Project Manager. But the Plant say the same like in your case: don't find this arx file. And open window of "Fatal Error" and close program. I comprove, and in the folder this file is... I hope that problem is the bad installation of program.

 But my solution is :

 - Create new dwg file in the Project Manager of Plant3D.

- Open this file with ASD and the program ask you that if you want to convert this file in the ASD steel file, acept it.

- Create the structure (or in your case copy the structure from other exist file).

- Close it in ASD, and prove open with the Plant3D from Project Manager. In my case this solution work.

Refering the above, enclosed herewith the generated Ortho in Plant 3d of the building modelled in ASD formwork.

The ortho generated can be rated as "Very Bad" in Plant 3dd, which cannot be used for delivery of drawings to our site.

What s the solution Autodesk have for this?

Regards,

Arun Kumar

ASD Object Enabler, possible solution for the ASDLoad.arx warning:

1.       Close drawings and exit Plant 3D 2013

2.       Copy RBCTAppCore.dll file from "c:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\ASD" to the ‘main’ folder of Plant 3D which is " C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013 – English”

3.       Launch Plant 3D, warning about ASDLoax.arx should no longer appear
