Help on Bolt Lengths

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me with getting my bolt lengths to be correct? I noticed they were off when i was checking isos and have traced it back to the bolt length field in the model. From what i can tell, a flanged connection (flange fitting to flange fitting) is using the length set in the catalog for the bolts and the connections to wafer valves is using the distance from end of pipe to end of pipe (the distance from engagement to engagement).

What do i need to do to fix the valve connection bolt length?

(project is mix metric units)

Thank you.

I am not sure if you have seen this forum thread before. However, please refer to this forum thread to help you with your bolt length question.

Thank you Quentin,

I had not seen that and it does help, but that thread does not address how Plant handles wafer valves blot lengths.

But, with that, i am guessing that it must be a formula.

Does anyone out there have this, so i don't have to reinvent the wheel?
