Floating Nozzels

I am trying to render a shot of some vessels with some simple piping attached.  I am using a Plant3D to FBX to showcase workflow.  The nozzels on my tanks seem to float in the air (See Picture) and do not attach to the head of the tank. Also, I notice that my pipes are fairly boxy, and reveal a lot of edges.  Is there a setting which will smooth out my edges and possibly fix the nozzel issue?

Are you using a straight Plant 3D drawing from the project? I would suggest to open the drawing in the project and then use EXPORTTOAUTOCAD. This will create a new drawing file. Use this file and see if you have better results.
