Flange Bolts and gaskets

Can you tell me how to make a flange used different types of bolts:

e.g. the same flancge will have a have :

1. a flange to flange connection

2. a flange to wafer butterfly valve

3. a flange to globe-gate valves

For these three options we might 2 or 3 types of bolts to be used and sometimes with a gasket and withe the butterfly valve no gasket

thanks for your help

Lyndon

You could add the other types of bolts to the spec and substitue them in the model.

Hi,

Substituting after placement is the best option here as nlarez has suggested.

It would be nice if there was a way to automatically do this with a joint setting so I will log a wish with our developers.

Thanks,

Dan

Dear Dan,

I would like to add one more issue regarding the Bolts,

For Butterfly Wafer Type We Have Two types of  LUG Type witches coming between Tow flanges with the holes in the outside of body of the valve from those holes the stud bolts coming through  those holes so the Nos. of stud bolts it will be as the STD of flange like if have 8 it will be 8 nos. ,,,,,,

The other type of lug it will be have double Holes around the valve body in this case the nos. of bolts it will be double and must be so how we can do that in the plant 3D

Regards,

Ahmed Helal
