extending pipe

sometimes when I extend pipe I click on the + and pull to my destination. the problem is sometimes it continues the pipe to the destination but sometimes it adds a piece of pipe to the existing pipe instead of making it one continuous piece of pipe. what are the stipulations that determine what happens when. this is a problem because when you have things attached to the line and you have to remove the pipe and redraw another piece of pipe, you also have to go back and reattach all the other items too.

It is because your line has the slope. If the piece of pipes has the diferent slope the program separate it, like in real.

May be you think that you pipe hasn't slope, but the slope there are. Chek it better.
