Does your enterprise use SAP interfaced to Autocad Plant 3D?

I would be keen to learn about your experience and success stories, currently evaluating Autodesk suite and need to combine it wit company SAP modules in use: mainly SAP MM for purchasing and PS for project management and reporting. Many thanks in advance for any experience that you will like to share about. Warmest regards, Aldo

Ceccarellia,

I am not aware that there is already an interface from SAP to AutoCAD Plant 3D. Please let me know if you know a vendor who is offering that interface.

However, there are at least two companies offering an SAP interface to AutoCAD P&ID. If you are interested in contact information, please send me an e-mail.

Kind regards,

- Reiner

Hello Reiner,
in Italy I heard that C.L.A. is evaluating possibility to interface AutoCAD Plant 3D with SAP coders http://www.cla-it.com/products.html but I have no official info about. We are currently running a 360° market analysis of products from Autodesk competitors as well such as http://www.esain.com/INGL/esapro.htm (demo had yesterday) and soon we'll be able to gather cost/benefit and compliance evaluations with respect to our working requirements and target standards. In this frame if you happen to have references (URLs) of Autodesk P&ID solutions interfaced with SAP I'd be keen to receive them via e-mail and study with great interest. WKR, Aldo
