Dimension length of stanchion support

After placing a welded stanchion support, I ran the iso and found that the length of the stanchion support is not dimensioned. I looked at the dimension settings and tried various changes but, could not get the dimension to appear on the isometric. How can I get the length of the stanchion to be dimensioned on the isometric?

Currently, there is no way to have this type of dimension placed when the Iso is generated. They only dimension that will generate is the locating dimensions. I will pass this along to our development team as a future enhancement to be able to generate a height iso dimensions for a stanchion support. One thing you would do is to just type the height in the properties window of the the Long Description (Family). Then when the Iso is generated it will be listed in the bill of material. The other option would be to manually draw the dimension in once the Iso has been generated.

Quentin, thanks for your reply. I think adding this dimensioning capability would be an important addition to the program. I would also like to request that the length of dummy legs have dimensioning capabilies.
