Were you able to find a solution for the line model displaying as it was?

If you are working with AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014 have you installed the latest Extension or Service Pack? Just remember that if you have Extensions loaded, do not install the Service Pack. If you are current you will either have Extension 2 installed or Service Pack 1. Extensions are only available to subscription customers and can be downloaded from Subscription Center. The Service Pack 1 for Plant 3D 2014 can be dowloaded here.

It's not problem of Service Pack. It hapen because there are two type of object in structure members: Calculate line and Shape object. The calculate line in many times has diferent lenght that shape. Because it's necessary to form nodes for calculation.
In Plant3D in first you need to work in Line model, and finally to do detailing in shape. In this case your calculation model (line model) it's not go to deforming.
