detail on iso

is it possible like in isogen pdms.. and all other software to add details on iso ?

this pict is from the web but you can see 4 details on it this is what i want

i have several standard they are in dwg and with isogen i just have to apply the name and path on the selected part in 3d and it come on iso  .. any idea ?

Plant 3D has currently no function to add those details directly to the isometric drawing. You can add this enhancement request here: Enhancement Request.

As a workaround you can add XREFs to the isometric drawing and create a clipping boundary for the xref afterwards:

i totally despointed why after many years plant 3d can't do the same as isogen ? ....

ISOGEN has been around just a *liiiiittle* bit longer than Plant3D, so they've had much more time to implement new features and find and squash bugs.  Just because you can generate an isometric drawing at the click of a button doesn't mean creating that software is as simple.

i don´t 100% agree whit you dgorsman

course till 2011 ASDK use to 100% isogen , the they start to do here owne thing ( like many times bevor , they never will learn )

an that the Bill now WE HAVE to PAY.
