Custom parts for instrument

Hello,

I'm working on a projekt in 3d Plant 2011. I've read all topics on this site about this problem and noticed a few other had the problem. I'm creating custom parts for instrument, but have iso failiure.

I have made models that is basically a pipe wich is the same size as I'm going to use and a pressure transmitter sticking in to the pipe, converted to plant part (plantpartconvert), added ports, then I made a new component (valve), added the model to it. I read another post that you could do this and use Iso type = Instrument-Dial and Skey = IDFL and then add to spec and update.

My problem is when making ISO:s the line brakes and I get "Error 2022: IDFGEN has detected a disconnected pipline.." and it's where my part is.

I've tried to change Skey to IDBV because I've got no flanges but no different.

Anyone got this problem and got it fixed or know how? Maybe I missed something in the process.

Thanks for any help!

Dennis,

Could you please post a snap shot?

A picture would give more insight.

It sounds like a Joint Settings issue. Have you added the end types to the joint settings so it knows to connect to it?
