I have a problem with custom objects color. When I create an object in Invetor and than import it as an AutoCAD block to Plant or when I simply download it, Layers and Color settings from Project setup doesnt work. When I click on properties, object has assigned layer and color, but visually it is in same color that it was imoported.
Change the entities (explode all nested blocks if necessary) inside the block to layer 0 and color 'by block' before converting to a Plant 3D component.
