Creating Sections not perpendicular to WCS

Hi

I have a need to create drawings with sections from many different angles along a tunnel path. I.e not perpendicular to WCS.

Earlier I made a xref of the model with rotated insertion point. In this specific project this work flow should generate several xrefs. Is there any easier way of solving this problem?

I have noticed that when creating ortho view I am able to create UCS, but I cannot find any way to use this in viewport. Please see attached picture.

Thanks

Same question for me too.

Though you lose all P3D functionality, the work around is to export to ACAD and use the Generate Section commands.  Generate Sections may work with P3D objects but I haven't tried.

Hi Michael,

I'm sorry to say that there is no more elegant way to do it in 2013 but in the upcoming 2014 you can add jogs and use isometric or user-defined views when you want to create an ortho drawing. This should solve your need.
