Creating New Specs

Hello everyone,

I am struggling with creating a new spec. We are trying to create an all-around DI class 150, with fittings, wyes, crosses, and valves. I have attached a couple sreenshots of the Spec for clarity. The thinking behind what we are doing is to create a spec with everything that we would ever need for the jobs we do, maybe that is wrong? But, where we are with this spec is the parts come into the model one piece at a time, but do not connect to each other. I get an AutoCAD error, again attached for clarity, and I do not know how to fix this issue. I also do not understand how to set up the Table Branch Editor. Any and all guidance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Damian Senden

Your bolt set pressure class does not match the flanges. Check your gasket also. They must all match pressure class, facing, and size.

These two Autodesk University Classes on-demand have materials you can download that discusses the branch table:

PD2371-L : AutoCAD® Plant 3D Spec and Catalog Editors: A Hands-On Lab

PD1847: AutoCAD Plant 3D Spec and Catalog Editor

I hope that helps.
