If you haven't created yet a new SKEY for that valve, you can use the existing valves SKEY such as "VBFL" for Ball valve flanged type, "VBSC" for thread and so on. (SKEYS are added into the "IsoSkeyAcadBlockMap.xml" file. You can create autocad symbol and SKEY code just that, the block name must be mapped into the XML file correctly. Thanks and God bless.

In order to better assist I need you to attach the following info regarding your valve: What are these values for the new valve in the catalog? Iso Symbol Type: Iso Symbol SKEY: The following files from the Isometric folder of you project: IsoSymbolStyles.dwg IsoSkeyAcadBlockMap.xml

this is type of valve i want to create a iso symbol.

in IsoSymbolStyles.dwg i create block "mixproof valve" with 4 ports

in IsoSkeyAcadBlockMap.xml, i insert "<SkeyMap SKEY = “IX??” AcadBlock=”mixproof valve”/>"

in content iso Symbol Definition i insert "TYPE=VALVE-MULTIWAY,SKEY=IXFL".

Unfortunately the issue is not your symbol. The issue here is that our iso engine doesn't support multi-port valves yet. One option would be to treat the multi-port valve as a piece of equipment. That way it will get called out in the iso. Then maybe insert a detail on the iso. Sorry this should be addressed in the very near future.

About the mixproof valves, a while ago i've been experimenting with splitting up the valve in, for example the one you posted, two 3-way valves and an actuator. Assining a custom ports to the coupling between the top and bottom half. In the end it did work, but the amount of time you have to spend making things to work is a killer, especially when you have to use many different type/sizes/etc. No Python here.  🙂

And for your other post (how to created a custom isosymbol) i would recommend to take a look on this site --> click  (yeah, i know...spam..spam...spam.... but it's a nice site with many great tutorials, tips, etc.)

My client has many 3, 4, & 5 port block valves with  2, 3, & 4, valves/actuator on one assembly (bio-chem. eng).  Sometime there are 4 port block valve with 3 actuators and two different end type (BWxTC) connections all in one assembly.  I have a symbol from the vendor for the isometric but not sure how to create the xml file needed to read the symbol in the drawing.
