Coordinate annotations in ISO vs. ORTHO?

So generated iso's will show N S E W coordinates, but how do you show the same on ORTHO's in a annotation?

How would you convert a X- position to an S coordinate?

Hi Eric,

See attached image.

Use "Ortho Annotation" and change style to "Postion" on the command line.

This will give you the coordinates you are after.

Thanks for your reply Bruce.

On the iso's, if I have a negative X value, it'll display like "S.3500", but on the ortho it will display as "N.-3500".

Is there a way so that on the orthos:

Negative X values will be shown with a S.

Positive X values will be shown with a N.

Negative Y values will be shown with a W.

Positive Y values will be shown with a E.

I've figured out how to remove the South and West coordinates from the iso's, but for some reason, it left a "<>" after the coordinate, "N.-3500<>" Not sure what that was about.

H Eric,

I can find no means of making negative Y ordinates annotate as “S”.

Appears to be hard coded within the application.

ECAD may have developed an app for this. Worth enquiring.
