Converted spec elbows have incorrect dimensions

I have converted an Autoplant spec to Plant3D. The conversion was 100% according to the conversion routine. However, I have discovered that the long radius elbows are being drawn with a radius of 1.5 times the outside diameter of the pipe instead of 1.5 times the nominal diameter. How can I fix this problem?

Hi,

You can change this in AutoPLANT to Plant 3D Mapping settings by:

1. File->convert->settings->AutoPLANT settings

2. Pick Geometry Mapping

3. Class AT_ELBOW_LR_90

4. Change the Parameter Mapping R from 1.5*PIPE_OD_M to CTR_END_M

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your help with this problem. I am surprised that the Autodesk would issue their software with a default mapping that is incorrect. I have now lost confidence in the spec converter as I do not have time to check every component mapping from Autoplant to Plant3D.
