Centreline display of structural member in ortho view

The centre line for structural members are not displaying in ortho view, which is required for annoting the dimensions, and for better appearance.

What's your workaround then to ensure that you're attaching to the center of a column?

You can use the MTP snap, select two external points on the profile, and then you'll get the axis of the structure member.

M2P can be used for finding centreline, the wishlist was auto generation of centreline display display similar to pipeline for structual members too.

This would be most helpful to convert skid frames over to Inventor for detail modeling. Rather than the go around to another autodesk software which generates the lines with more process involvement. This also means more room for errors to be generated.
