Centerlines for existing and new pipes in ortho drawings

I use Plant 3D 2014.

Question:

Is there any way to obtain different colors for centerlines for new and existing pipes in ortho drawings?

Background:

I have a model which contains new and and existing pipes. They are in separate layers. I want to create an ortho drawing which, when I print it, show all the existing pipes and their centerlines in the color grey and all new pipes and their centerlines to be black.

Everything expect the color of the pipes' centerlines turns out the way i want. The centerlines are all red in the ortho drawings.

The status of the existing pipes are set to existing i the model.

I have checked "Use 3D model layers" in Ortho Generations Settings.

I am having this issue as well.  Setting the layer for the existing centerlines, within the ortho setup, is not changing the existing centerlines to the correct layer. The pipe is changing to the correct layers.  I'm running 2014 ext.1.

By installing Service Pack 2 for Plant 3D 2015, this problem is finally solved!

Readme says:

Issues fixed with this Service Pack:

Orthographic Drawings

  • Annotation in a mixed-metric project initially displays metric units.
  • If two ortho drawings had the same name (in different folders), ortho views could not be created.
  • Existing piping did not display on the EXIST_CENTER layer.
  • Dynamic block symbols did not display the expected visibility state
