Catalog Builder

I am missing the tab ribbon across the top of my Catalog Builder.

Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

(Don't say reinstall, because I've already done that.)

Hi,

Is it the ribbon in the 2013 version that has disappeared, by any chance?

If so, have you installed any of the 2014 products or any other software that would install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5?  There is an issue with installing .NET Framework 4.5 that will cause the Catalog Builder ribbon to disappear and also cause the 2013 Spec Editor to become unstable when you change the filter in the Catalog selection panel.  I have worked around this by un-installing the .NET Framework 4.5 and re-installing .NET Framework 4.0 - I had to do this when I installed 2014.

Thank You Andy!

Of course that is what I did.  I installed MEP 2014 to see if it had the tools I am going to need to document the Electrical and instrumentation information and drafting we will need to make this project the most valuable.

Of course, MEP is also sadly lacking in what is really needed for Elecrical 3D in an industrial environment, so I uninstalled it.

I will immediately kill Netframework 4.5 and reinstall 4.0.

Thanks Again

Fred
