Can you migrate a P3D project from 2015 back to 2014?

Dear Users Group,

We have a project which I have enlisted others to assist in the layout of the vast amount of piping on a particular project.  I am using P3D 2015 but my helpers are still using 2014.  I have tried repeatedly but they are unable to open the project or any of the drawing files through the project manager.  I was hoping that P3D would automatically start the migration manager and convert everything to the previous version (2014).  The confusing thing to me is that they are able to open all of the files just using OPEN but unable to do so through the project manager.

Is there a way to do this?  Please help fast because I go on vacation in a week and I need these other guys to help out during that time.  Thanks!

I appreciate your response but if you ask me I see no other reason for this other than Autodesk FORCING users to install the new version.  Here goes another days loss in productivity.

In order for older versions to work properly with the data from new versions, the older program would have to be updated.  The end result of that update would be the new version of the program.  Otherwise there would be no difference between the new version and the old version and thus there wouldn't be a new version, only the old version.  I'm going to stop there, as I'm sure its devolving into a Star Trek "beat the intelligent computer by giving it a logical paradox problem" train of thought.
