Can't change spec of existing line

I have an existing line which was run using spec "CC2" which needs to be changed to spec "AC2". I tried to change the SPEC property for all the components on the line but, this was not successful. I can only change this property one component at a time. Is there any way to change the SPEC property for all components on the line?

Seems like trying to do this wholesale could be problematic, unless it’s a very simple existing line. Otherwise, if there are several components on the line, the new spec may not have a corresponding part. 

Is the AC2 spec part of the project? Have you confirmed that the AC2 spec contains everything you’re trying to reassign over to it? What happens when you select the entire line, change the spec property to AC2? Does it read “VARIES”?

It seems that taking an incremental approach to switching specs on an existing line is the better workflow, so you can catch any warnings as you go.  In some cases may be quicker to just recreate the line with the correct spec.

When I tried to change the line number of an existing line, not every component updates to the new line number. This projects contain about 400 lines, so is not possible to redo all the routing process. Please help me with this issue.

If line is already numbered - right click and select as shown.  Then change in the properties.
