Hi there,

U can't add reinforcing pad directly in ur branch table, what i used to do and it works well is to add reinforcing pads under olets classification...

Good Luck

I have tried to find reinforcement pad from advanced shape options that I could use the olet classification but I haven't found it.

What i meant to say is that....

1. In your catalogue create your reinforcing pad to the required dimension using part category as Olet.

2. Then when u finish add it to your spec.

3. then go to your brach table... create your branch select olet as part type. then in the spec part you will have your reinforcing pad.

It is obviuos that you will have different reinforcment pads for different diameters ( different length of reinforment pad)

try it

1. Create New component

2. I changed Component category to Olet

After this I got the problem, because i can't find shape for reinforced pad, not even from Advanced shape options

Reinforcement ring is only option when pipe gategory is fastener.

Is there something that i don't understand?

1. Create new component.

2. Go to olet and select a shape normally I selected the CPNS_W_OF.

3. Input ur dimension so that it matches nearly ur reinforment pad.

4. And change the name to reinforcement pad in long description family and size to reinforcement as per ur standard of pad.

5. Now the Iso Symbol type = OLET

6. SKEY=RPAD

When I generated my iso I got my pad everything in the bom....

Usually reinforcement pad is generated by Plant itself

Hope u got a clear picture

Interesting approach. Seems to work ok, but visually it's not as nice as a real repad.

Added bonus: an extra weld (but still one missing, a repad has 3 welds)

It would be preferable if it was possible to specify a refinforced pipe to pipe connection and adding real repads to the spec (and producing 3 welds in the process).

It may not have been in your version of P3D but at least 2017 has a reinforcing pad in the custom parts catalog.

It's in the fastener section as a reinforcement ring.

I drew all the reinforcement plates (in the form of saddles) and placed them in the branch table. Visually it is perfect, however, these parts do not appear automatically in the model, being necessary to insert them "by hand". Any suggestions that might help resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.
