BOM for 3D parts

Hi, I changes a couple of butterfly valves to existing and the still show up in the BOM after creating.  How do I control AutoCad Plant 3D parts from showing on the BOM?  I use these parts for piping new systems as a control point.

I edited the BOM so that it won't show existing items, each item edited seperately.

BOM report or BOM is Isometric drawing? Please clarify, thanks

The answer is in the report creater.  Each item must be edited not to show in the edit query.  This should work for all reports 3D parts, ect.....
