Autocad Plant 2014: Otrhographic drawing and missing geometry

Hi!

My problem is that when drawing includes more geometry it starts to miss some geometry. Example I have concrete model in Plant and it works fine by itself but when I add other geometry to drawing some of pump beds disappears and some concrete colums.

Is there some solution for this.

Attachment includes pictures.

Pictures 1-2  show situation where I have cutted colum from middle and other shows that I have cutted it before colum. Some colums have disappeared allthought they should be there.

Pictures 3-4 shows situation when example some of the pump beds has been disappeared.

Here are some questions that may help the community in assisting you with this:

  • Are you using Plant 2014 Service Pack 1 or one of the Extensions?
  • Has this ortho shown accurately before and now doesn’t show with Ortho update or a new ortho view?
  • Is this geometry an xref or is it directly in the same model as the other geometry?
  • If an xref, is it attached or overlay?
  • Are all the drawings this ortho is referencing part of the project (can you see all of them in the Project Manager tree)?
  • Are any other programs other than Plant 3D being used here? (for example Revit?, ASD?, Inventor?)
  • If Revit, is it being exported as ACIS solids rather than a Polymesh?
  • Have any directories moved or been renamed?
  • Have any of the source drawings been moved or renamed?

Hi!

I have Plant 2014 SR1 and Extension1

It has never shown corect with other references, if I take aksonometric ortho only for it it works.

They all are in own pictures (piping, etc.)

They are reference part of project.

Only piping is made in Plant, others are made in Tekla and transformed to dwg in Tekla

Nothing has been removed and renamed, as I know

Of course I have got new models from Tekla but I have added them separetly to project

Hi,

If you can get a simple example that shows the problem, send the dwg(s) to support and we can investigate what's going on.
