Valve symbols insert as dots?

We have been working on a project for nearly a year and only recently have run into the following. In certain PID drawings the valve symbols have been replaced with dots. When a valve is inserted from a pallet it will show up on screen until the tag information is input at which time it reverts back to a dot.

We have been able to copy valve's from other sheets and they copy over fine.. Until you assign a tag (refreshing the symbol) at which time it reverts back to a dot.

Has experienced this issue? Anyone's ideas as to a resolution?

Thanks,

Have you tried the SYNCHSTYLES command? At the command prompt type SYNCHSTYLES, give that a try and see if that solves the problem.

Did you have a chance to use the SYNCHSTYLES yet?
