PnPID Question

In autocad P&ID 2008 in the data manager the far right column is a column labeled “PnPID”. We are basically knocking out all the drawing geometry first then going back and labeling all the line segments. We want to export out the line segment spreadsheet, give it to an engineer, have him fill in the pipe specs and send it back to the cad guy. We thought if we could turn on (display) the PnPID numbers and plot the drawing and give it to the engineer with the spreadsheet he could identify which line are which.

EZTCADSYS,

Sounds like a good plan. You would have to have the PnPID annotated on the
drawing. The easiest way to do this is to drag the number off the
datamanager onto the drawing.
