Off-Page Connector Text Locations keep moving?

I am currently using P&ID 2009. When I insert an off=page connector, the text for the "Origin or Destination" generally appears on the bottom of the Off-Page Connector. However, on occasion (usually when the connector points to the left) the text moves to the top. Sometimes, it does appear on the bottom at first, but then eventually (after saving it or switching back to paper space) the text moves to the top of the connector. I would like it to stay on the bottom side.

On a similar note, when I export the drawing out to regular AutoCAD via "File -> Export to AutoCAD", the text no longer stays on one line and becomes a multiline text field. When the text is on top of the connector, it wraps and overlaps with the text for the Page and connector number within the connector.

Is there a solution to prevent either or both of these from happening?

Thanks,
Ryan

We have implemented these behaviors so that based
on orientaion it flips properties. The properties we flip are:

ClosedDrain

OpenDrain

UtilityConnector

size=2>

    ConnectorNumber and PnID

InletOutletFlowArrow

    OriginOrDestination and PnID

OffPageConnector
LinesAndInstrumentSignalConnector

    Service and OriginOrDestination

You can bypass this flipping of properties by using
other fields. You can create new properties that acquire properties from
existing columns then change the offpage connector blocks to use these new
properties. The code that looks to flip values will not recognize these new
properties and leave them alone.

Hope this helps.

Jorge
