disconnecting lines

How can i disconnect lines from one another so my drawing is not one connect line jumble.

If you are referring to how lines are grouped together, you can use the
SLGROUPEDIT to ungroup lines. In the next verson of the software we have
changed selection so that it does not select the entire group by default.
